SOAR platforms are a set of security software solutions and applications that allow you to browse and collect data from a range of sources. SOAR enables businesses to gather threat-related data from a variety of sources and automate threat responses.

Security Orchestration, Automation and Response

Amazon Web Services provides an application program interface (API) for call recording and log monitoring (AWS). AWS CloudTrail enables AWS customers to record API calls and store the resulting log files in Amazon S3 buckets.

is an on-demand adjustable pool of shared resources allocated inside a public cloud environment that provides a degree of isolation between the many companies (hence referred to as users) who use the resources. is a standardized programming language for managing relational databases and performing different operations on the data contained inside them. Following its introduction in the late 1970s and early 1980s, SQL became the de facto standard programming language for relational databases.

is a US federal agency that operates under the Department of Homeland Security's supervision. The National Protection and Programs Directorate's activities are carried on by it.

is the full domain name for a specific machine on the internet, often known as a host. The hostname and the domain name are the two elements of the FQDN. An FQDN for a hypothetical mail server may be mymail.somecollege.edu, for example.

Fully Qualified Domain Name

Filters, monitors, and blocks HTTP traffic to and from a web service, and is a type of application firewall. It can prevent attacks that exploit a web application's known vulnerabilities, such as SQL injection, cross-site scripting (XSS), file inclusion, and poor system configuration, by examining HTTP traffic.

Web application firewall

is one of the Internet protocol suite's most important protocols. Its origins may be traced back to the first network implementation, when it was used to supplement the Internet Protocol (IP). As a result, TCP/IP is usually used to refer to the full suite. TCP ensures that a stream of octets (bytes) is delivered in a reliable, orderly, and error-checked manner between applications operating on hosts connected by an IP network. TCP, which is part of the TCP/IP suite, is used by major internet services such as the World Wide Web, email, remote administration, and file transfer. SSL/TLS is frequently used in conjunction with TCP.

Transmission Control Protocol

is one of the Internet protocol suite's most important members. Computer programs can deliver messages, referred to as datagrams in this example, to other hosts on an Internet Protocol (IP) network using UDP. Setting up communication channels or data pathways does not necessitate prior communication.

User Datagram Protocol

As part of a communications protocol, a signal is delivered between communicating processes, computers, or devices to indicate receipt of a message.
